VÓTANA

is the Greek word for herbs. It is pronounced vó-tan-na. Sideritis or Shepherds’ tea is a flowering plant that makes a very aromatic and healing herbal tea. It is used to aid digestion, strengthen the immune system, suppress the flu and other viruses, allergies, pain, and mild anxiety. It also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.

SERVE

add a few tea-buds & leaves in hot water and let them stay for 4-5 minutes. Add Greek honey (or sugar). You can also add a few lemon drops, or cinnamon cloves. Strain, serve and enjoy.
